The exterior is adorned with traditional Japanese figures and immortal sages in vibrant red, blue, and gold gilt. A hidden Geisha girl lithophane is visible in the bottom of the cup when held up to the light. The handle features a textured, beaded design typical of mid-century Japanese porcelain exports.
